RO plant

RO plant will be of a two-pass module. (2x50%) first pass of total capacity 162 m/hr (3888 m/day), the permeate from 1st pass will be stored in a permeate storage tank of capacity 4500m. TDS shall not exceed 450 ppm/ 500 ppm (depending on sea water quality) (2x50%) second pass of total capacity 40 m/hr. The permeate water from 2nd pass RO will be stored in a DM plant feed tank of capacity 100 m. TDS shall not exceed 20 ppm (2x100%) supply pump to DM plant, consist of 2x100% capacity Ion exchange units. Two (2) No. of DM Water storage tanks of capacity 400 m each equivalent to 24 hrs requirement. Condensate Storage tank of capacity 350 m Consist of - scale Inhibitor Dosing system, Corrosion Inhibitor Dosing System, Acid dosing system, Electro chlorination plant and side stream filter. scale Inhibitor, Corrosion Inhibitor, Acid dosing and Chlorine will be done at CW Common Forebay. 1.2% of cooling water (590m3/hr tentatively) will be fed to the Side Stream Filters (3x50%) and outlet of SSF shall be 2 ppm TSS maximum.
