Lesson ICT lesson - Unite 2 - Microsoft No of 31 students unit/page word students Context of the lesson This lesson covers how to insert picture, change picture styles, picture effects, add picture reflection and picture glow through using Microsoft word program. Teaching goal The overall aim of this lesson is to teach studnets how to insert picture, change picture styles, picture effects, add picture reflection and picture glow through using Microsoft word program with simple instrutions from the teacher. Learning objectives At the end of the lesson students will be able to: Know how to insert picture, change picture styles, picture effects, add picture reflection and picture glow in Microsoft word program. Assumptions about prior learning The learners will have encountered that insert picture mean create new picture. Anticipated problems and possible solutions Some learners maybe didnt know that picture styles, picture effects, picture reflection and picture glow help them to formate the picture look in a nice and easy way. Lesson Procedure \ ICT Lesson Time/ Stage Teacher activity 1- On the carpet area, the teacher will ask students about the day, date, take the attendance, remind them of classroom rule and explain what I am looking for during this lesson thorugh using PowerPoint program. 2- The teacher will divide students into 4 groups, let students to match the same symbol with each other in quia website with their friends to discover the lesson objective by themselves in the ICT website, & to improve their collaborative skills between each other. 3- The teacher write on the present these woeds by using popplet website insert picture, change picture styles, picture effects, add picture reflection and picture glow, to cover and build students brainstorm of what they already know about these features in the Microsoft word program. Students will use their mini white boared to answer teacher qestions about each word meaning. 4- The teacher will explain the lesson steps thorugh using projector, to show students how to insert picture, change picture styles, picture effects, add picture reflection and picture glow in Microsoft word program. Then let the students participate one by one to show their friend again how to apply each of them. After that show the students a video about these steps. 5- The teacher created a challenging task to encourage students learn and feel exiting at the same time, through let the students go to their seat, then open the ICT website and follow challenging steps. Afte that, students will work in group to complete their task and get a group point. That will help the students to apply and practice what they are learn from my explanation. The faster students in applying the step in correct way is who will be the winner. 6- The teacher will review the lesson to the students through ask them why they are learn how to insert picture, change picture styles, picture effects, add picture reflection and picture glow in Ms. Word. Then inform students that they have homework in the website, which is create a nice picture related to the UAE with a nice formatting, print it and give it to me next class. Student activity
The whole class will listen to the teacher instructions and interact to answer her questions about day, date, while she take the attendance, and participate to remind the students about the lesson objective that they found it by the end of matching the same symbol with each other in quia website Students will think to answer the teacher question about insert picture, change picture styles, picture effects, add picture reflection and picture glow as well. Students will be attentive to the teacher explaining, be active when the teacher asks some questions that related to the lesson and participate to explain the lesson steps to the whole class. Students will feel exciting and active to create a nice page with add text, change font size, font color and nice font face thorugh using Microsft word to be the winner group in this challenge.
