Dismissing Participants in ETO

If a participant will no longer be attending programming at your location, you can dismiss them so that they will no longer show up in lists of participants who are active in your program. Their data will still be in ETO and you can re-enroll them if needed. Check with your site administrator about your agencys policies for when and how to dismiss participants.

From My Dashboard, click on Dismiss Participant from Program.

Search for the name of the participant who you want to dismiss. Do not use Family Name.

Select the checkboxes next to the participant(s) who you want to dismiss. If you are dismissing multiple participants, you can choose to either dismiss all of them with the same end date and reason for dismissal, or with different dates and reasons.

After filling in this information, click Dismiss.

Select an end date and dismissal reason, and check the Successfully Completed box if the participant is being dismissed because they have completed the program (check with your site admin about when to do this).
