Scholarship Name

Brief Description
The Erasmus Mundus Iran Iraq Yemen (EMIIY) is a scholarship programme open to nationals from Iran, Iraq and Yemen who want to study or work at one of the European partner universities. The scholarship programme is open for students on undergraduate, master, doctoral and post-doctoral level as well as for university staff. It is financed by the European Commission.

Eligible Criteria
1. Only nationals of Iran, Iraq or Yemen are eligible to apply. 2. No students can benefit from a second scholarship for the same type of mobility under another Erasmus Mundus Action 2 project (does not apply to staff). 3. Candidates cannot benefit from more than one mobility activity within the same project. 4. 2. Netherlands Fellowship Program for Masters, PhD, and Short Courses

The Netherlands Fellowship Programmes (NFP) are demanddriven fellowship programmes designed to promote capacity building within organizations in 61 developing countries by providing training and education to their midcareer staff members. The NFP is funded by the Netherlands Ministry of Foreign Affairs under the development cooperation budget. The scholarships allow candidates to pursue Master studies, PhD studies, or short courses at Dutch Universities

4. The KennedyLugar Youth Exchange and Study (YES) Program

The Kennedy-Lugar Youth Exchange and Study (YES) Program was established in October 2002 to provide scholarships for high school students (aged 15-18 years) to spend up to one academic year in the U.S. The program is vital to expanding communication between the people of the United States and its partner countries in the program in order to promote mutual understanding and

Since 2003, over 253 Yemeni students have received the YES Scholarship, lived with a host family, attended a U.S. high school, been involved in different activities including community service work to learn about American society and culture, acquired leadership skills, and helped educate Americans about their countries and cultures. 5. Korean Government Scholarship Program for Graduate Students The Korean Government Scholarship Program is designed to provide higher education in Korea for international students in order to promote international exchange in education and mutual friendship between the participating countries.

6. Korean Government Scholarship Program for Graduate Students

2. Applicants must be under 40 years of age as of Sep. 1st, 2012 (born after Sep. 1st, 1972). 3. Applicants must hold a Bachelors or Masters degree as of September 1st of the selection year. Applicants who have enrolled in or graduated from a university in Korea are not eligible for the KGSP program. Specifically, applicants who have previously enrolled in or graduated from an undergraduate program, a masters program, or a doctoral program in Korea cannot apply for this program. 4. Applicants must maintain a grade point average (GPA) of at least 2.64 on a 4.0 scale, 2.80 on a 4.3 scale, 2.91 on a 4.5 scale, or grades/marks/score of 80% or higher from the previously attended institution. If the applicant does not satisfy the above GPA requirements, he/she will be ineligible to apply to this program.

7. Netherlands Fellowship Programme Master

54. The Swedish Institute Study Scholarships

The scholarship covers both the tuition fee (which is paid directly to the Swedish university/university college by the Swedish Institute) and living expenses to the amount of SEK 9,000 per month. The scholarship is only awarded for programmes starting in the autumn semester (August/September) and is granted for one academic year, i.e. for two semesters at a time. It will be extended for programmes longer than two semesters provided that the student's study results are satisfactory. The scholarship is designed to cover living costs and study expenses for the scholarship holder. There are no grants for family members. The granted scholarship period cannot be altered or extended beyond the study programme period nor can the scholarship be transferred to another study programme at a Swedish university.

The scholarships are only intended for students who are required to pay tuition fees according to the information at University Admissions. There is no age limit for scholarship holders.
