Brief Description
The Erasmus Mundus Iran Iraq Yemen (EMIIY) is a scholarship programme open to nationals from Iran, Iraq and Yemen who want to study or work at one of the European partner universities. The scholarship programme is open for students on undergraduate, master, doctoral and post-doctoral level as well as for university staff. It is financed by the European Commission.
Eligible Criteria
1. Only nationals of Iran, Iraq or Yemen are eligible to apply. 2. No students can benefit from a second scholarship for the same type of mobility under another Erasmus Mundus Action 2 project (does not apply to staff). 3. Candidates cannot benefit from more than one mobility activity within the same project. 4. The scholarship covers both the tuition fee (which is paid directly to the Swedish university/university college by the Swedish Institute) and living expenses to the amount of SEK 9,000 per month. Scholarship holders are insured by the Swedish State Group Insurance against illness and accident during the scholarship period. - Harran Scholarship is intended to be utilised by citizens of Bangladesh, Palestine, Iraq, Iran, Lebanon, Pakistan, Syria, Tajikistan, Jordan and Yemen. - All undergraduate programs other than Medical Sciences, Islamic Studies and Turkish Language and Literature are offered in this scholarship program. - The Trkiye Scholarships provide the students studying in Trkiye with wide opportunities.This includes university tuition fees, health services at university, monthly living stipend, houses allowance, courses for Turkish language and round trip flight ticket to your home country. Candidates applying to Harran Undergraduate Scholarship shall meet the following requirements: 1. Being a citizen of the specified country (Yemen). 2. Those who have graduated or are likely to graduate from secondary school, 3. Those who were born no earlier than 01.01.1992, 4. It is expected to have certain academic score from candidates for each program and scholarship level. This four-year scholarship comprises two years of PhD studies at an A*STAR Research Institute and another two years at a select top overseas university to enrich students academic experience. Under this PhD research training, students will be mentored by a Professor from the selected university and a senior member of an A*STAR Research Institute.
