Biography
Olivia Leathers is the founder of Livvv Cosmectics. She started the
company in 2010 afer realizing she had knack for fashion and everything
that goes into fashion including makeup and cosemetics.
Olivia grew up in Raleigh, North Carolina where she founded the
company. She attended private school, and it was there that she realized
she wanted to be an entrepreanur. She then making her business plan
for her cosmetic line. Ten percent of Livvv Cosmetics earnings go to her
Foundation that helps
inner city girls.
Te company was created in 2009 in Olivias hometown of Raleigh, North
Carolina. Afer a short modeling stint Olivia found that most high-end
makeup used for photo shoots was not good for the skin. She then set out
to create her own afordable makeup and skincare line for all ethnicities-
and age groups. Products include, glosses, lipsticks, eyeshadows, eyeliners,
blushes, foundations, and mascaras, anti-aging creams, mineral powders,
and bronzers.
Growing up, Olivias mother instilled in her the importance of skincare and moisturizing. Tese teachings and
values have stuck with her today. Te company has gone on to provide jobs for people interested in the main
component of the fashion industry, skincare, beauty, and makeup. Livvv Cosmetics has been featured in maga-
zines such as Glamour, Vogue, Elle, and Essence.
Currently, Livvv Cosmetics is sold in all ffy states as well as on their newly launched website. Livvv
Cosmetics caters to women with sensitive skin and all products are dermatologist tested and approved.
As of January 2012 Livvv Cosmetics began being sold in Sephora stores nationwide, Te company opted to go
this route because Livvv Cosmetics values customer experience and selling the cosmetics in store allowed for
customers to try, test, and sample products in person. Livvv Cosmetics is make-up for todays modern woman
and we continue serving and providing our customers with the best makeup experience possible.

Livvv Cosmetics will be launching their own mineral makeup line in the spring oI 2013. Skin-
care specialists have concluded that mineral makeup wears better on the skin especially on hot humid
days. It also is said to create a natural look that traditional liquid makeup does not.
Livvv Cosmetics will be introducing their loose powder mineral makeup, which is dermatolo-
gist tested and approved. 'Mineral makeup is said to be better Ior women with sensitive skin because
it leaves out oils, dyes, and Iragrances, which tend to be in conventional makeup but can act as skin
irritants, dermatologist Nikki Wilson adds. 'Also, because mineral makeup does not contain any oils,
it won`t aggravate acne prone skin. Neal Zuckerberg, a New York dermatologist weighs in, Many
women who come into my oIfce are not able to wear makeup because they suIIer Irom eczema and
rosacea. I tell them to try mineral makeup because it is not as harsh on the skin. When they fnally try
mineral products they are able to wear makeup Ior the frst time in their lives.
