Explore the standards for quality early childhood education.

The primary benefit in following licensing standards in childcare and early education market is its helping ensure childrens rights to care settings that protect them from harm and promote their healthy development. The importance of this is shown by a growing body of research evidence that emphasizes the importance of childrens earliest experiences to their development and later learning. Emerging research on brain development indicates that the degree of responsive caregiving that children receive as infants and toddlers positively affects the connections between neurons in the brain, the architecture of the brain itself. Given the proportion of children who spend significant portions of their day in settings outside their family, ensuring that these environments promote healthy development becomes increasingly important. It is very important in teaching these standards we fallow each of them in our curriculums, and teaching, relationships, their health, assessing their progress and their physical environment with their families and community relationships. These standards each have an individual way of promoting healthy development. In a curriculum that is consistent with its goals for children and promotes learning and development in each of the following areas, social, emotional, physical, language, and cognitive. A well planned curriculum guides a teacher so they can provide children with experiences that foster growth with the assessment of the childrens progress. The teachers knowledge of each child helps them to plan appropriately challenging curricula and to tailor instruction that responds to each childs strengths and needs. Teachers that have educational qualifications, knowledge, and professional commitment necessary to promote childrens learning, and development. These teachers then have the knowledge to use effective teaching approaches that enhance each childs learning and development in context of the programs curriculum goals. The teachers can then also arrange the physical environment so it provides appropriate and well-maintained indoor and outdoor physical environment. A well organized, equipped, and maintained environment supports the program and the curriculum goals. Community relationships and families and health all go together in the sense that it establishes and maintains these relationships with each childs family and community because there learning and development are connected to their families and community, and to benefit from education and maintain a quality of life, children need to be as healthy as possible. Last but not least is Leadership and Management and with-out this instituting ongoing

program planning and career development opportunities for staff as well as continuous programing improvement there wouldnt be an effective program.
