ENTERPRISE 2 PLUS- UNIT 1 Firstly in the view of practical considerations, the cover of the book is not interesting, affactive.

There should be another picture, comics, saying etc. The text are interesting and attractive with the pictures around them. Also the size of the book is convenient for students to handle but the price is not appropriate for all students. On the other hand the book can easily be obtained from most of the bookstrore. It has many suplementary materials like visuals, tapes etc. Then in the view of the content, there are enough activities for four different skills. And also the subskills are covered in the book. For example, there are learner training tips before the activities(do skimming before the scanning). Besides of these, most topics are interesting and appropriate for learners. There are topics about differnt cultures, famous people lifeetc. But some topics are not appropriate fort hem such as designing your house safely for your child. Then the language used in the book is mostly formal language.but in some parts, dialogues there are daily speech, frequently used words, phrases in mass communication and daily life. t is authentic some times. The other interesting part is that it has a variety of text types such as dialogues, project, puzzles, picture stript story but mostly prose. Then the iner organization is appropriate mostly. At first speaking about pictures, then text, reading activity,listening, then games. The tasks are generally challenging and achievable mostly. The most importantly, there are visual aids like pictures, authentic pictures, puzzles to make meaning clear and make guesses. Vocabulary load is reasonable for learners, every new vocabulary is appropriate for their level. Also the vocabulary items controlled to ensure systematic gradation from simple to complex, common to rare. Generally new vocabularies arent recycled n the following units, mostly there are new vocabularies while presenting vocabulary, there are different techiques for learners such as picture script, puzzlebut the activities are limite even only make sentences with using new vocabularies. It is very boring. There should be different activities; role-playing, wriying a story, poem, listen to a dialogue the grammar load is suitable for learners level and grammar points are recycling for permanent learning. There are opportunities of using both grammar and vocabulary in games, matching activities etc. General grammar rules are deductively at the end of the book in a special part, but in the units the grammar activities are generally tpical, the same. Flexibility is not so good because in the view of the grammar topics go step by step, simple to complex. The book can adres different learning styles, it has different types of activities; listening, speaking, visual, kinesthetic games etc. So it can match different students needs.
