Table 2 above shows the raw data from the trials of the first DOE. The trials are randomized to reduce bias in the experiment, and there is a fair amount of variation between the data from the different factor sets. The lowest value in the first DOE was a pH of 0.39 and the highest value in the first DOE was a pH of 2.01.

Table 3 above shows the raw data from the trials of the second DOE. The trials are randomized again to reduce bias in the experiment, and there is also a fair amount of variation between the data from the different factor sets in this DOE. The lowest value in the second DOE was a pH of 0.41 and the highest value in the first DOE was a pH of 2.04.

Table 4 above shows the raw data from the trials of the third DOE. The trials are randomized to reduce the bias in the experiment and to separate this DOE from the first and second DOEs. There is still a fair amount of variation between the data from the different factor sets and the data is similar to the data found in the first two DOEs. The lowest value in the third DOE was a pH of 0.39 and the highest value in the first DOE was a pH of 2.02.

Table 5 above shows the raw data from the trials of the fourth DOE. The trials are again randomized to reduce the bias in the experiment. There is also a fair amount of variation in this and the data is somewhat close to the results found in the first three DOEs. The lowest value in the third DOE was a pH of 0.43 and the highest value in the first DOE was a pH of 2.06.

Table 6 above shows the raw data from the trials of the fifth DOE. The trials are randomized again to reduce the bias in the experiment. There is variation between the data from the different factor sets and the data is similar to the data found in the first four DOEs. The lowest value in the third DOE was a pH of 0.39 and the highest value in the first DOE was a pH of 1.99. There do not seem to be any significant outliers in the data.

Table 7 above shows all of the raw data from the three DOEs after being averaged. These averaged values are the values that are used throughout the analysis of the data. This allows the entire experiment to be analyzed as one rather than as separate parts of an experiment. The data is consistent throughout all of the DOEs which shows that testing was consistent and almost without major error. There does not seem to be any significant outliers.

BeltzMong 21 Table 8 above shows the observations made by the researchers during testing and trials. One interesting thing that was noticeable is that for each factor set, the vinegar did the same exact thing. For example, in all of the (+,+,+) trials (Clay, 120 mL Grass, Fast Pour) the vinegar sat on the clay before soaking in at all. A white, saline-like liquid appeared on the clay as the water soaked through, and a hard, foamy residue was left behind. This was consistent for all the (+,+,+) trials in all DOEs. This makes it appear as though the type of substance has the most effect on screening the contaminants and removing most of the vinegar from the water before it can contaminate the water.
