Brain/Skull Kit SUMMARY: The brain/skull kit includes a plastic skull that pieces together, a picture of the brain with all parts labelled, a manual for the kit that has brain terminology and a manual for the parts of the skull. EVALUATION: This kit is a little advanced for the grades that I want to teach. Also I felt like this kit could have contained more items such as a brain model. So I would rate this kit a 7 out of 10. APPLICATION: I could use this model if I teach the upper elementary grades. I could teach the basic parts of the skull and if I taught the younger students I could use the brain picture to teach the different sections of the brain like the frontal, temporal, occipital, parietal, and brain stem. On top of using the picture I would teach the students the brain song. Also I think it would be great if this kit had a model of a brain so the students get their hands on it.
