Adverb Clause!
A group of words containing subject and predicate and does the work of an adverb, is called adverb clause.

Adverb clauses are dependent clauses. They cant stand alone as a sentence in written English. They must be connected to an independent clause. When an adverb clause precedes an independent clause, as in (a), a comma is used to separate the clauses. When an adverb clause follows, as in (b), usually no comma is used. a. W en t e li! t went off, she had written her homework. b. She had written her homework w en t e li! t went off.
