Unit summary
In this project a critical analysis of eating habits and the consequences of a poor diet on physical performance of human body is performed. Participants will engage in research, surveys , comparison charts, Venn diagrams which provide knowledge to them about the most important aspects of the human and the consequences of bad food in our youngters. Such content is immersed in our national curriculum competencies: Using ICT capacity for abstraction, analysis and synthesis, capacity to post and solve problems, ability to find, process and analyze information. Communication and ability to work collaboratively. The group will be divided into four groups of five participants each who collaboratively develop a Web page where all the work during this Project will be exhibited. To answer the following questions: Why small changes make big differences? What do you usually eat every day? Do you like fast food? What is healthy food? What is junk food? What are some examples of healthy and unhealthy food?
Learning situation
The professor begins the class with a PowerPoint presentation in which the effects of a poor diet, obesity, diabetes, malnutrition are observed, the images impact the 11 students. The teacher from seeing the interest of students, questions them about their eating habits. The effects produced in the human body by a diet low in nutrients and diseases resulting from these eating disorders.

Development of a Web page that record the results of the various activities undertaken during this collaborative project.
Summary of evaluations
Students learn the importance of good nutrition. A practical analysis is performed within the classroom giving them a clear view on what are healthy and unhealthy foods. They perform a search for information related to this topic on the Web and conduct surveys among their peers to have a clear idea of the subject matter. Finally they evaluate their individual performances as well as in group.

actions. I form. Each student says one thing they do every day I everyday. Introduction to the lesson: We are going to discuss personal habits today. We will be deciding which habits are healthy and which are unhealthy. Begin the KWl food chart Complete the food journal. Create a food organizer about healthy and unhealthy food. Session 2 80 minutes. Review Canadas Food Guide focusing on the specific recommendations based on different ages. Talk about their daily food intake from the previous day. Create a survey using and share it using Google Drive about personal eating habits for breakfast, lunch and dinner and interview their classmates. The results must be presented using a graphic and present it orally. Create a chart about healthy and non-healthy food. Visit the school store and analyze what the students are buying and classify them according to healthy and unhealthy food. Present the results of the activity on Slide share. Session 3 80 minutes. Write down at least one change they will make about their eating habits and when they will start. Complete the activities from the food pyramid create by the USDA. Create a digital book (youblisher) about of the advantages of eating healthy food and the disadvantage of unhealthy food using pictures to illustrate it.

Create a group weebly and upload there all the assignments done in this project.
