What do we think of when we hear the word mood? a. Write definition on the board. 2. What are some moods? 3. Take notes of moods. 4. Pull out butcher paper with the moods you looked up. 5. With class, discuss what each mood means. 6. Write what is discussed on chart. (Have students act out the moods) 7. We are going to use this chart to complete the mood worksheet. 8. Explain the worksheet. a. Do the first question together. 9. Students will complete worksheet on their own. Assessments: - Mood Worksheet - Can students identify moods and what causes them? Can students refer back to the text for answers.
