We look forward to partnering with you to provide more technology in the business department. The college of business has more than 2,983 students that are in need of new technological equipment in order to have a more understanding of what is going around campus. The objective of the new technology which would include television screens is to help students facilitate the way the colleges communicate with the students and staff. They will receive information about organizations and important dates for events. The college of engineering implemented that the new screens helped the students get involved with the college by showing dates that are important to help their education such as advising and registration. We have seen success in the engineering building with the new technology program. Our proposal requests $4,500 in funding to obtain the television screens and it would cover the installment cost, the wall mounts and a 10 year insurance plan for the screens. There would be a total of three screens in the first floor, two on the second floor, and four in the third floor counting the ones in existence. We appreciate the College of Business in taking an interest in helping us, the students to develop more knowledge in what is going around the college. Statement of Need College of Business has 2,983 students, and out of these students there is about 1000 that do not know when there are events or appointments they need to make in order to succeed. The University of Texas at El Paso receives money from the state of Texas in which some part of that money is sitting in the bank. We could use this money to get more technology for the college building. Project Description The New Technology Systems at the College of Business will help students improve their knowledge about the school with the use of 4 screens on the ground floor, 2 screens on the second floor, and 4 on the classroom floor. Students using this system will be able to see what events are happening in COBA as well as being able to advertise their own organizations as well. Students will increase in the networking ideals and they will be able to come out of their comfort zone. Project Outcomes The goal of the New Technology at the College of Business program is to improve how the information travels around campus; it would facilitate the communication at the college. The objective is that by the advising, registration and other important dates, the students can rely on the information on the televisions in order to fulfill the requirements by the deadlines presented. The main objectives of the program include the following:

1. Advising dates would be posted, as well as when the advisors are available and when they can see
a student. 2. Registration dates and information would be given for the students in order for them to pay and register on time. 3. Organizations will be able to post information about their meetings as well as events that they are doing. 4. Career opportunities will be posted and updated daily.
