Present Me Zimmer Twins at school

Summary of Implementation:
Instructions: Should consist of a 2 paragraph explicit description on how you would implement at least one or two of
these web tools into your daily or weekly lessons

After reviewing the information from each web tool presented, I believe I would implement at least three of the websites within my lesson plans daily and or weekly. Speak-a-Boos, Book Adventure, and Little Bird Tales each bring creativity and innovation to a classroom. To engage students and keep them motivated to learn we should implement programs that would appeal to them. I would incorporate Book Adventure in a weekly lesson plan for small group with teacher directed instruction such during center times. Each group of students will be able to spend a certain amount of time at each station. When the small group of students arrives at the computer center I would have each student log into their Book Adventure account to see what books each student has read and completed and allow them to take a quiz once the books have been completed. The more each student logs on and quizzes on books that they read the more points they get toward a prize. This exercise would be implemented at the end of each week to allow each child to finish a book. Speak-a-Boos is a tool that would be incorporated into a daily lesson plan during a small group independent practice. This tool would be great to utilize after reviewing Reading/Language Arts material. Once students are able to break into center time a small group of students will be able to utilize the computers independently and use the Speak-a-Boos web tool to gain a deeper understanding of the material taught during instruction. Lastly, I find Little Bird Tales to be extremely useful during class instruction. This tool is very innovative and helps facilitate children to think creatively and make their own stories with their artwork and pictures. This tool would be used during a whole group time. During a Reading/Language arts instruction period I would open a lesson plan utilizing the Little Bird Tales as if it were a PowerPoint presentation. I would use a premade story in which each student will follow along in order to comprehend the storyline. Afterwards, I would ask questions to enhance a deeper reflection, and then I would have each student draw a picture about what they learned from the story.
