Bienvenidos a la clase de espaol 2. Welcome to Spanish 2 class.

September 11, 2013

Dear Parents and Students. I want to welcome you to our new school year. In this letter you will find an overall description of the course, the dynamics and the unique classroom format for the year. Teachers Background. My name is Vivian Fasano (a.k.a. Seora Fasano) and Im originally from Colombia. I graduated with a B.S.Ed. in K-12 Spanish from Caldwell College and I have been teaching Spanish at the High School and College level ever since. I am presently working on my Masters in Spanish, ELL and sign language. I love the art of learning another language and I am so excited to pass it on to my students. Text Book & Articles Course Description During this class we will be covering more advanced elements of Spanish grammar, vocabulary and some cultural background. A tip for success: I encourage students to spend at least twenty minutes preparing each day instead of cramming all the study in one night.

Students will be provided with their own text book to be use only within the classroom. These books will not be allowed to be taken home. Any studying material will be provided during class and through the student online portal as well. If you have any problems logging in please send me an e-mail and I will be happy to help you.

Expectations
The process of learning another language can be stressful and confusing. My aim is to make this learning experience fun as well as productive. Therefore, I ask that the students come in to the classroom prepared and with an open mind. Please review the schools attendance and academic policies.
