Participants also completed an open-ended response on both their pre- and post- test. They were asked to answer the following question: How do you plan to use IFakie Text and Inklewriter in the classroom? Most of the participants left this blank in the pre-assessment; however openly responded to the question after the workshop. Below you will find some of the responses from the teachers. Students can utilize these tools to test each others knowledge on different standards content. I plan to use these tools to encourage writing in my classroom. I love Inklewriter and the novelty effect of this tool would encourage reluctant writers to create writing I plan to use IFakeText to use with stories that do not contain dialogue. The tool lets us create possible dialogue based on character traits.

Face-to-Face Assessment and Evaluation: Web 2.0 Tools Evaluation of Workshop 1. Do you feel you have a better understanding of more Web 2.0 Tools, specifically IFakeText and InkleWriter? All participants said yes. 2. What did you like most about the training? Inkewriter; being exposed to new technology that I can utilize in the classroom to make learning more interactive and expose students to more technology in the classroom; very organized. The presented did not stress out when technology did not cooperate. I love the handouts with extra information on additional Web 2.0 tools that I can use in the classroom. The training was very clear and concise. Actually learning about meaningful technology that I want to use in the classroom. I wish we could do this more often, where we have someone can in and give the teachers relevant technology information. 3. What would you change? Most participants wanted the ability to interact with the applications, but I did not have enough technology to support this. I would have loved that though. 4. Other comments, observations, or suggestions. Great job!!! The evaluation of the workshop occurred immediately after participants took their post-assessment.
