WCL 3362 (33631) U.S. LATINO LITERATURE*


Subtitle and Major Emphasis this Semester:
Latino Writing and the City
TUES. 2:30-5:30, Prof. Marc Zimmerman.

English-language Works of U.S. Puerto Rican,


Chicano, Cuban, Dominican, and Central
American Latino literatures (fiction, poetry,
drama, etc.) related to U.S. and Latin American
literatures and their theoretical frames.
Questions of gender, and other relevant themes.
Among authors to be read: Pedro Pietro, Sandra
Cisneros, Abraham Rodriguez, Junot Diaz, Achy
Obejas, and others.

Latin American and/or Mexican
American Studies Minor
