Objective of performance counseling


To provide a non threatening atmosphere in which the subordinate can freely express Solve tensions, conflicts and solve the problem To develop the subordinate knowledge of his or her strengths and weakness To enhance the subordinate understanding of the work environment

To review the subordinates progress in achieving objectives To identify any problem that are hindering progress Encourage the subordinate to set goal for further improvement To help the subordinate realize his or her potential
