The incumbent of the above position will be responsible for the effective co"ordination! facilitation and administration of Water Education #rogrammes at Delta Environmental Centre in $ictory #ar%! &ohannesburg! with specific emphasis on spreading the water conservation message through environmental education methodology. PRIMARY DUTIES 'rganise ( facilitate water education wor%shops at Delta Environmental Centre. )anage the Water Wise oom and storerooms at Delta Environmental Centre. )anage staff involved in the facilitation of water education programmes. )anage the relationship between and Water and Delta Environmental Centre! i.e. Service *evel +greement! budget! etc. Develop learning programmes specifically on water and lin%ed to the school curriculum for learners and educators! aimed at nursery schools! schools and tertiary institutions. )onitor and assess water education programmes. ,ieldwor% on water conservation and purification issues will form an integral part of the educational programmes. Wor% with schools that are involved in the EcoSchools #rogramme. Developing relationships with e-ternal parties! i.e. companies! ./'s! schools! universities! etc. OB REQUIREMENTS +n appropriate .atural Sciences Degree or Diploma with specific emphasis on Environmental Education. Two years0 e-perience in Environmental Education. Code E1 driver0s licence.
