Old Business Rich Burns presented a picture of the memorial plaque that will show the names of people who have passed away during their time as members. It will be entitled Grand Haven Croquet Club Memorial (Match Time). A one day class for Instructor/Coach class has been postponed until after the seminar for existing instructors later this month. It was suggested that we ask for "Instructor Assistants" who could learn while helping out rather than have a class. Invitational - Rich is in the process of getting a committee together, and a list of players.
New Business Discussed creating a voluntary advisor program so new members will find the club more user friendly. The advisor would help the new member assimilate into the club by introducing them to other members, bringing them to Wine & Wickets, and socials, answer any questions they may have, and practice with them on the court. Membership directors would pair the advisor to the new member
There being no further business, a motion was made, seconded, and approved to adjourn the meeting at 2:45 p.m. Respectfully submitted:
