Bush tucker

When we got there a girl called Marita showed us some bush tucker we ate some plants they were lilly pilly it was like a tiny apple, new Zealand spinach, pigface we got water from it, lemon merdle and peppermint leaves I learned that you can get water from succulents/pigface.

2. Sustainable living

Next we went with some one called Nilma, she showed us about sustainable living and how all the Earths elements are running out then we went to a sustainable house that has an air lock created by two doors. I learned you can use glad wrap to double glaze your windows.

3. Food waste Then we went with a girl called Becc, she told us about how so much food is getting wasted every day and so we should get a worm farm or a compost heap to put all the peals in.She told us that there is a difference between a use before date and a best before. I learned that the difference between use before and best before is you can still use best before after the date but the use before you can use it after its date.

4. Gardening Finally we were at our last activity with Glen we harvested camomile, weeding, planted some plants, mulched and watered plants. I learned that we can replant plants by taking the bottom leaves off and planting it in the ground, in a couple of days or weeks it should develop roots.
