Tommy Whitelaw visit to the Highlands

Tommy Whitelaw, from Glasgow was a full-time carer for his mother Joan who had a diagnosis of dementia. As part of his Tommy On Tour campaign, Tommy Whitelaw has been visiting Scotlands towns and cities, to raise awareness of the impact of dementia on families and the difficult but vital role played by carers.

Alzheimer Scotland and NHS Highland are hosting several events. Three talks have been arranged on: WEDNESDAY 13TH NOVEMBER 10am-12noon at the Highland Dementia Resource Centre, Unit 2, Strothers Lane, Inverness
Carers of people with Dementia are invited to come along to any session

-------1pm and 3.15pm (1 hour talks) Main auditorium, Centre For Health Science, Raigmore site, Inverness
Open and suitable to all NHS Highland Health and Social Care staff including Hospital, Community and Care Home settings
