The students will be able to use comprehension strategies to answer and ask questions. The students will be able to observe, measure, and describe weather as a basis for understanding this concept. The students will be able to use tools (weather vane) to measure weather conditions and record changes. The students will understand that climate changes daily but trends make weather predictable in a season.

Students will then work in groups and use the iPads with the notability app that has a picture of a blank world map on it. The students will then work like meteorologist to predict the weather in the 7 continents that they will label on the map.
