T course requires significant independent learning ability, especially to deal with such a work load. I know by talking to Riley he is competent with design concepts and design problem solving, but he would need to be able to demonstrate that through other mediums such as written talks and presentations. The other option is that he trials the T course for Term 1 and if the workload is too much transfer into an A course for the remaining units. I hope this helps. Feel free to contact anytime. Riley is keen to take a design course next year with particular interest in pursuing Interior Design after Year 12, at this stage. As I understand, you think the Design Graphics course best suits his direction of interest. Do you think he is should do the course as either an A or T subject?
