Experienced in collecting, analyzing, and sharing reading data with parents and staff using running records and the WRAP reading assessment. Served as Reading Cohort member, attended curriculum meetings, and collaborated with team members on specific instructional needs. Collaborated with 3rd grade team members working in a PLC environment to analyze student data and created lessons in Reading, Math, and Language Arts. Created, organized and provided materials needed for Guided Reading Binder and running records. Served as the 3rd Grade Gifted and Talented Selection Team, which collaborated throughout the year on the selection and placement of students who are nominated by parents or teachers. Differentiated and designed curriculum to meet the needs of all students with small groups, leveled readers, hands-on manipulatives and technology. Served as a tea room waitress. Provided assistance in the building of a new home for the Johnson Family in the Extreme Home Makeover episode in 2010. Served as volunteer and suited women at Dress For Success to promote economic independence for economically disadvantaged women. I assisted the ladies choose proper attire needed for their first interview. Provided hope and encouragement for men, women and children at M.D. Anderson. I served as a Coffee Cart volunteer providing a warm drink for all that were waiting in the different cancer departments. I also helped lades choose wigs and scarves at the Beauty Barber Shop.
