Resumen de la unidad Subject: English Description: In this country there are people who are not preserves his/her culture therefore; this project is designed to students of high school in order to value the important of holidays, traditions and cultures in a country. Where students have to research information through many web sites and collect data based on survey. This information will be presented in power point by taking into account different cultures. In addition,, it will help students to improve the reading , and communication skill and it will make students to feel more comfortable with the topic. Learning strategy: Since a few years ago our society is composed of a diversity that we had not experienced before. Until a few years ago to know a person of another race and culture was something rare and exotic. Fortunately today we live together with people from different backgrounds, who bring with them their different cultures, languages, religions, costumes, and cuisines The diversity is always source of knowledge and reflection, facilitates the awakening of the critical attitude, the curiosity, the re-approach of ideas, new concepts it is an opportunity to reinvent ourselves and learn from others what is also valid for oneself.so, what would you do to keep the culture and tradition in your country?

Introduction A major part of any Social Studies curriculum is the exploration of different cultures. As our world becomes more and more interconnected, through travel and communication, it is important to understand the similarities and differences between groups of people. This project will give you the opportunity to explore holiday, traditions, and cultures from many different countries around the world. People from all over the world have many different traditions, cultures and holidays celebration. Traditions are activities that people do every year or at least on a regular basis. Many traditions are activities that people do to help celebrate holidays. This project is designed to help us learn more about traditions from around the world. As part of this activity you will also be examining traditions from your own family. Activities to present it : Research information Brief Summary Write a paragraph Pictures Complete sentences Puzzle Survey Reading The final activity in this project will ask you to create a multimedia presentation that will inform your classmates about traditions, cultures and famous holidays within your own family. You will be using any materials to report your findings and to share them with the class. (Speech).

At the end of this project you will have two finished projects. You will be using your research to help you identify traditions that your family celebrates throughout the year. You do not need to use only holiday traditions. You may use any traditions that your family celebrates. You will be writing a paragraph to inform your teacher about the traditions within your own family. Otherwise, it will help you to understand your own family traditions you will start by researching how different countries each celebrate holidays. As you research each country, pay attention to how some traditions are alike, and how some traditions are different from each other.

This Project is focuses for any level students because it can be adapted to different students needs and they can use pictures instead of use the written materials and also student can work together to gather information and share with the partner This Project is for second language learners because there are many raze in this country therefore, this information lead to multicultural students so, they can use translator depending the language they know, encyclopedia, library, illustration computer to make easier the learning strategies. Students who have some disabilities they can use power presentation but using pictures and some example in Spanish if it is possible.
