Each student will be given a certain amount of skittles to practice adding and subtracting.

Teachers could easily use PowerPoint of the internet to bring up plus and minus table sheets and show them through an overhead to work them out on the board.

The children can provide us teachers with their best drawing on how many colors they think are in a skittles package. You can provide the students with a PowerPoint of different picture of skittle packages or pictures that involve skittles. Have the children draw anything they can think of that is colorful or reminds them of skittles. Collect their pictures or copy them and keep them on file.
