On august 3rd 2013 Caribbean Lagoon held her anual Softball Tournament & BBQ.

It turned out to be a very beautiful day for this Event. Sunny but not too warm. The six participating teams were all on time and so about ten oclock the tournament was on its way and ended around four oclock. The teams displayed their technical skills to win, but moreover they also cheered their opponents, At the end of the day there were smiles on all faces, as everyone was contented. One teamleader declared Please put down our name for next year, this was fantastic All participants got a souvenir for this Event. In the meantime Quick, Amersfoort Baseball Park, filled up slowly with people who wanted to be there to cheer the sporters. As usual the cakes sold very well and in no time our BBQ was sold out. This was also a day to meet friends an chat. There were also those who came to dance. Our both djs, SilverFox and RastAlvin, played the right tunes. It was very warm in the dancing hall. This did not keep the crowd away, it was Hot Hot Hot and they kept on dancing until the end. At the end of the day everyone was contented. Caribbean Lagoon can again look back at a very succesful event. We therefore would like to thank all our members, helpers and visitors for making this day a great succes.
