Mental Disorders Pamphlet Research Task

In small groups, you will be required to research details about a specific mental disorder. Your research findings will need to be presented as an informative pamphlet. Your pamphlet should be visually appealing with clear headings and organised paragraphs and should use at least 3 pictures or illustrations to support your text.
You can either print your pamphlet or produce it hand-made.

You will have todays class and tomorrows class to finish your pamphlet. You need to cover the following information; What is the disorder? List 3-4 symptoms of the disorder. What are the causes? What is the typical age group the disorder develops? What are the treatment options in general? What support can be found in Melbourne? Information on a specific case study as an example.

How to start: Start by researching your disorder. Some useful websites have been provided below, but there are no limits to what you can use. Make sure you include your references in your pamphlet! In your textbook you will also find some useful information about some of the disorders. - http://www.nimh.nih.gov/index.sthtml
