June 16, 2008 Ms. Robin Gault-Winton 1805 Lorimer Road Raleigh, North Carolina 27606 To Whom it May Concern: This letter is being written on behalf of Robin Gault-Winton, a former employee of Triumph, LLC. Robin was employed by Triumph from June of 2005 through January of 2008. Triumph is one of the largest comprehensive providers of community-based, non-residential mental health services in North Carolina, and Ms. Gault-Winton led our Staff Development and Training efforts. She was responsible for the development and implementation of a comprehensive staff development program for this company during a time of rapid growth for the company and significant change for the industry. During Robins tenure, the company grew from approximately 400 staff to almost 1000, and the industry was beset with changes in funding levels, service definitions, and utilization protocols. The combination of rapid growth and unpredictable change can cause difficulties in any position, and Robin Gault-Winton rose to the challenges before her and this company with significant grace and class. From the onset, when our needs necessitated the research, development, and implementation of an entry-level staff training course in approximately six weeks, to the end of her tenure, when she was actively involved in the development of an entire service curriculum, Robin was able to work quickly and with good humor to develop a superior product. She researches topics well, does so with speed and accuracy, and then has the ability to organize her subject in an effective and efficient way. Robin is a dynamic and learned presenter, and consistently received high rankings from our employees about the value of her classes. She also is concerned with the fiscal implications of her role, and was able to contribute effectively to the budgeting and fiscal management aspects of the company. Robins departure from Triumph was widely lamented, and we would welcome her back should we have any appropriate opening. I gained many insights about our employees and operations by listening to Robin, for she in turn was a good listener with our staff. She shared her counsel well, and this company became better because she was here. I would recommend her highly for any position that she pursues, for she will bring enthusiasm, competence, and positive social interaction to any setting in which she works. Sincerely,
