IBM SCCD 7.5.1 and IEM SUA2.0 Integration This document provide steps to configure IBM Endpoint Manager with Software Use Analysis 2.x and IBM Tivoli Integration Composer for for data integration with IBM SmartCloud Control Desk 7.5.1. It doesn't include Installation guide. IBM SmartCloud Control Desk and IBM Endpoint Manager for Software Use Analysis Integration 1. Prepare data in Software Used Analysis (SUA) 1. Login to Software Use Analysis 2. Go to Management > Computer Properties 3. Create new properties as below
Full Operating System Name and Service Pack Level - Windows OS Version Number - Windows OS Type - Windows OS Product ID - Windows OS Product Key - Windows OS Installation Date - Windows Uptime - Windows OS Language - Windows System Language - Windows User Language - Windows Current Size of RAM Maximum RAM Installable System Slots in Use System Slots Available DHCP Servers - Windows DNS Servers - Windows Domain/Workgroup - Windows PPP Enabled - Windows MAC Addresses - Windows Subnet Masks - Windows Computer Manufacturer - Windows Computer Model - Windows Identifying Number - Windows Laptop - Windows Brand String of CPU - Windows Number of Processors - Windows Number of Fixed Drives - Windows Disk Drives - Windows CD-ROM - Windows Network Adapter - Windows Video Controller - Windows Sound Device - Windows Monitor - Windows Screen Resolution - Windows Number of Processor Cores - Windows

**On IBM Endpoint Manager, you need to enable "BES "BES Inventory and License" License and "IBM Software Inventory" Sites 4. Go to Management > Imports / Click Import Now 5. Wait until import successful

IBM SmartCloud Control Desk and IBM Endpoint Manager for Software Use Analysis Integration 2. Create Datasources and mapping pping in ITIC 1. Run IBM Tivoli Integration Composer by execute startFusion.bat in <ITIC installer folder>/bin 2. Login to ITIC. 3. Click Define New Data Source. Source

4. Select Tivoli Endpoint Manager SUA 2.0 then click Next.

5. Define efine Data Source name then click Next. Next

IBM SmartCloud Control Desk and IBM Endpoint Manager for Software Use Analysis Integration 6. Select Connection Method as IBM Tivoli Enpoint Manager SUA API and fill URL (SUA ( hostname and port) , Username and Password Password then click Test Connection. Connection

7. If connection success it will be popup message below then click Finish.

8. Create another data source for target by clicking Define New Data Source. Source 9. Define Target Data Source (SCCD) name then click Next.

IBM SmartCloud Control Desk and IBM Endpoint Manager for Software Use Analysis Integration 10. If you are using DB2 as the database of SCCD select IBM DB2 JDBC Driver then Fill your DB2 information then click Test Connection. Connection

11. If connection success it will be popup message below then click Finish.

Mapping 12. Click Create New Mapping.

IBM SmartCloud Control Desk and IBM Endpoint Manager for Software Use Analysis Integration 13. Select Source and target that you have been created in previous steps then define the mapping name.

14. Fill Password to connect source then click Finish. 15. Fill Password to connect target then click Finish. 16. You will see preview data from source (IEM_SUA2.0) and target (SCCD)

17. Close windows

IBM SmartCloud Control Desk and IBM Endpoint Manager for Software Use Analysis Integration 3. Create bat file and run the mapping 1. Copy executeMapping.bat .bat in <ITIC installer folder>/bin then rename it. 2. Open Copied bat file and modify the following param for mapping.

3. Save bat file. 4. Run the new bat file.

5. If the execution is success. success. You will see computer information in IBM SmartCloud Control Desk. Remark : If you need to run as schedule, using Task Scheduler to run it as your requirement.
