Faculty and batch-mates understood accent and pronunciation Common public had difficulty understanding accent and pronunciation. - Used written means to convey Participated actively in class and group task Hesitant - not sure what was acceptable 45% said Indians understood their slangs and jargons used

60% Understood accent and pronunciation of faculty and batch mates - Indians speak fast - Pronunciation of certain words is different
Common public mixed Hindi and English
55% couldnt understand slangs and jargons - Example CP, CCD 59% didnt feel resonance in implied and perceived meaning

Often used non-verbal means to convey their thoughts - Gestures, Hand movements, facial expression - Varying nodding style
Style of greeting - Indians follow non contact form
Style of handshake - In India it is gentle and of short duration - Indian females are hesitant of handshake
