Challenges to face Being a reptile, the blue tongue lizard has to


absorb heat. It does this by flattening on hot rocks in the sun to increase surface area. This also makes them look bigger to avoid being pecked off.
These adaptions prove it had to evolve around many predators it can scurry away quickly, it can camouflage well, it has strong scales, some can even drop their tail if caught, they have a blue tongue and interesting behaviours in order to scare them away.

Carnivore
Strong jaws to crunch snails shells. Camouflage allows to ambush victims and lunge quickly.
