Objective My goal is to obtain a responsible teaching position with opportunities for growth. In the classroom setting, I aspire to create a community of engaged and active learners by working effectively with staff, students, parents, and community representatives to provide meaningful, individual, challenging, and diverse learning experiences that will develop lifelong learners, promote character, and foster competencies necessary for individuals to function and contribute in a changing global society with self-efficacy and motivation.

Experience Interventionist Aide August 2012-Present Killeen Independent School District, Clifton Park Elementary School I work with a diverse group of students with many different needs. My responsibilities include motivating students to learn the curriculum and meeting their individual needs as learners in order to assist them in learning at higher cognitive levels. During established times throughout each day, I work with struggling and at-risk students. I provide interventions and design lessons catered to their specific learning difficulties and/or styles. The schools unique student population has taught me to be creative and flexible in implementing lessons within specific time limits. I help students build self-confidence in all content areas enabling them to achieve academic success. June 2009-January 2012

I assisted the children with homework assignments by answering any questions they may have had. I demonstrated how to organize themselves and their work by utilizing various programs on the computer to effectively meet their goals. For more engaging lessons, I developed supplemental educational study-aid materials and games to allow the children to have fun while learning and studying. I effectively taught them how to read, recite, and review their work to ensure it was at their best possible

level.
