A SELF GUIDED TOUR APPLICATION FOR TOURISTS AND TRAVELERS This mobile application works by capturing a snapshot of a monument, cathedral, building or any structure using mobiles built in camera and this will be processed by image processing technique to be compared to the image from that of what is stored in the database (feature matching or histogram). The GPS coordinates associated with the image location will also be used in case of limited files stored in the device database. As a structure was captured by the devices camera and have been processed this will show the list of information such as its name, history, and any useful information about that structure. The mobile application will be available when the device has an internet connection using WIFI or smarts data internet connection services.
