BALTIMORE, MD/ July 25, 2013 After several days of intense searching, the Baltimore
Police Department announced the arrest today of Capone Chase, Public Enemy Number One. Capone Chase was wanted for the cold blooded murder of Ramon Rodriguez. With numerous tips form the public, members of the BPDs Warrant Apprehension Task Force were able to develop solid leads in the whereabouts of Capone Chase. This morning at 4:50 AM, detectives located Chase in the 1500 block of Pennsylvania Ave, and took him into custody without incident. Our entire Agency works hard every day to make Baltimore safer, said Police Commissioner Anthony Batts. Having the public help us in cases likes this is critical to catching the violent people who tear down our city. On July 13, 2013, Capone Chase lured Ramon Rodriguez to the 4000 block of Gough Street for the sole purpose of killing him. This was a calculated murder in a public play ground intended for use by children and families. The nature and location of the crime led to Chase being dubbed Baltimores Public Enemy Number One on July 22, 2013. Three days later Chase was arrested and will face murder and associated charges.
