    The latest version of the Global Reporting Initiative’s Sustainability Reporting Guidelines G4 was launched on 22nd May 2013 at the Amsterdam Stock Exchange, by GRI Chairman Herman Mulder. The launch in India would be facilitated by Deputy Director, from GRI Secretariat, Asthildur Hjaltadottir. The occasion will have the Launch of Guidance on Alignment of the GRI G3.1 Guidelines, NVGs and BRR recently published by GRI in association with GIZ. The document shows linkages between three CSR/Sustainability instruments: The Business Responsibility Report (BRR) disclosure framework, provided by the Securities Exchange Board of India; India’s National Voluntary Guidelines (NVGs), released by the Ministry of Corporate Affairs; and the GRI Sustainability Reporting Guidelines. The publication describes how the business responsibility principles of these three instruments are complementary, and how organizations can use and report against them in a consolidated manner.
