Quigley Lesson Plan: May 18, 2012 Major focus of the lesson: Introductions, Talking about oneself Lesson objective in terms of functions: Students will be able to ask someone what they are like and tell others what they are like. Instructional objectives in terms of functions of this lesson: a) Students will know how to say What are you like? in Spanish. b) Students will understand the phrase Cmo eres? (What are you like?) and know how to respond. c) Students will be able to use at least eight adjectives to describe themselves. Assessment: Students will be assessed by their poem writing about themselves. Assessment will be based on students presentations toward the end of class. Students will be asked to converse in Spanish as a final reflection as they leave class to reinforce the lesson and so that I may assess the general level of understanding amongst students.
