About AMU
One of the most renowned Universities in India, Aligarh Muslim University offers over two hundred and fifty courses to Indian and foreign students. It was given the recognition of a full-fledged university years after its inception in the year 1920. This exam is conducting by Aligarh Muslim University in every year.

Exam Pattern
The duration of exam is 3 hours. The exam will have 150 questions of objective type with one mark each. Entrance Exam of AMU 2013 will have a NEGATIVE MARKING of 0.25 Marks. For every wrongly answered question, 1/4 of credit of that question will be deducted as negative marking.

Eligibility
Students willing to join B.Tech and B.Arch programs should have passed the higher secondary examination with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate. Candidates with a diploma in Engineering may also apply for admission. The candidate must have had a diploma from AMU with a minimum aggregate of 50% to be eligible as per Eligibility Criteria of AMU 2013.

Eligibility For B.Arch


As per the AMU 2013 Eligibility Criteria the candidate must have had passed the Senior Secondary School Certificate Examination of AMU. Any other equivalent examination with a minimum aggregate of 50% in Mathematics, English, Chemistry and Physics.

Reservation Seats
Muslim students will have a reservation of 50% under Reservation of Seats. There is no other reservation for admission in various courses in AMU. Out of all the engineering seats in AMU 2013, there will be 50% AMU 2013 Reservation of Seats for the Muslim Candidates.
