PRESS RELEASE
June 25, 2013

The Saugerties Police Department reports the arrest of Jessica L. Bland age 22 of 251 Dutch Town Road in the Town of Saugerties. Bland was charged under Ulster County Local Law #2 (Social Host Law) permitting the consumption of alcoholic beverages by persons under the age of twenty-one (21) at private premises located in Ulster County. Officers had been dispatched to Blands residence at 02:41 am June 23, 2013, after receiving complaints of a large noisy party at the location. Upon arrivals officers found that party goers under the age of 21 had been consuming alcoholic beverages that had been provided by Bland. Bland was processed and released on an appearance ticket returnable to the Town of Saugerties Court on July 17, 2013.
