There are several events such as conferences, concerts, and festivals in the USA currently under discussion which will be announced by the organizers throughout the year. All workshops are public and open to all-comers unless marked "by invitation only". Our events are non-hierarchical. There will be material for advanced or experienced members and for new members at all open workshops. In some areas there also will be mini-workshops on Dreampower Tarot, Elemental Chanting, Celtic Gods and Goddesses, and other subjects, plus opportunities for readings with the Dreampower Tarot. READINGS A limited number of readings are available with RJ or Josephine Stewart, usually on the Monday after a workshop or by prior arrangement, using the Merlin Tarot

or the Dreampower Tarot. Bookings are taken strictly in order of request, and payment information is available through your local organizer. We often turn people away due to time limitations, so please be aware of this. You can reserve a booking in advance of the workshop, and you may be requested to pay in advance. Readings are not available to the general public, and readings cannot be done by telephone, though you can recommend a friend for a reading. With RJ and Josephine A weekend intensive workshop commencing Friday evening at Mosswood Hollow with a Four Temple attuning ceremony and meditation. Saturday: The Temple of the North: Destruction and Regeneration. Working with the Dark Goddess who calls all unto Herself, and unmakes all forms in order that they may be created anew. With RJ and Josephine Situated in a beautiful and peaceful retreat center with excellent rooms and facilities, this is our fourth annual gathering. Open to all, the workshop offers a chance to come together and experience aspects of creative spiritual work through the teaching and sharing of RJ and Josephine Stewart and friends. In this weekend workshop we will explore the accuracy of the Merlin Prophecies, which come from Welsh bardic tradition. About The Workshops

Most workshops run all day Saturday and Sunday, 10 AM to 5 PM Saturday and 10 AM to 4 PM Sunday. There are morning and afternoon breaks, and a lunch break suited to the locality. You may attend Saturday only if you wish, but there is no Sunday-only attendance other than by invitation. Some events also offer a Friday evening introductory talk and meditation: these may be priced separately from the weekend workshop. Please check details of the workshop program and schedule with your local organiser. Mini-workshops: These are generally during a weeknight following a weekend workshop and are two-hour sessions. Costs For The Workshops The one-day intensive workshops usually cost $90. Full two-day workshops cost $170. The One-night mini-workshops (usually a two hour session) and Friday evenings are priced separately. If there are any variations from the norm, details will be clarified by the event's sponsor. The May East Coast Residential is a special event. The cost is $420 per person and requires a non-refundable deposit of $100 at registration. All other workshop registrations require a $70 non-refundable deposit to guarantee a held place. Balances are due 10 days prior to the workshop date. Payments are made to different parties depending on the sponsorship of each workshop. Please check with the workshop sponsor before sending in your check. Greetings, from RJ and Josephine Stewart. As you may have noticed, there has been no newsletter for some time! We have been involved in so many changes in 1998 that we thought it best to wait until things had settled. We moved inland, into the foothills of the Sierras, this autumn. The region is like the Scottish Highlands. Also in the Autumn new editions of RJs books appeared with Mercury Publishing, marking the happy beginning of a new cycle of US titles. More are scheduled with Mercury for 1999, including an omnibus edition of Complete Magical Arts, and a revised edition of The Living

World of Faery. Meanwhile, RJ is completing his new book on Faery Healing, which will also be published by Mercury. Josephine has recently completed a magical novel, which we hope to see published in 1999. 1998/99 marks the beginning of training teachers in our work: we have two groups of experienced people (one East coast, one West), who will be helping us at larger events, and will run courses and local workshops. They have all worked with us for some years, are widely experienced in UnderWorld/Faery material, and in Inner Temple Traditions. We are developing advanced material for Inner Temple Traditions, and begin a new cycle of advanced faery and UnderWorld workshops in 1999. We expect our fellow-teachers to focus on basic training for new people, allowing us to work in greater depth when group members come up to advanced level. After an initial phase of sponsorship through our workshop program, the AROZ Institute is now developing its own workshop series. See the Aroz newsletter for details! Some projects have been placed on hold: RJs new CD of original music for the 83 stringed psaltery and other instruments, will not appear until after Spring of 1999.
