Tip: Read extensively and intensively! With extensive reading, you read longer works, like novels, and look fewer words up while with intensive reading, you analyze the structure and words of each sentence in shorter works. Studies have shown that both types of reading help you practice the language in different ways.

Tip: Keep a vocabulary list of new words you encounter to look up later and practice! Tip: Put the subtitles in Spanish to help guide you as you listen to the spoken language.
