Main Objective: Students will be able to:

Opening: Teacher will ask student(s) if they got the time? We will then begin to look around the classroom to see where we can find items with labels associated with time. (e.g. bell schedule, daily schedule on board, teacher plan book, the classroom clock etc..) Say to student: Well today we are going to be talking about time and how we can learn to tell time.

Classroom Management/Grouping Issues: Students will work independently or in small group with teacher. Positive praise Guide students in modeling appropriate time telling skills

Activity 1. Teacher will hand out classroom analog clocks to each student. This activity will help assess knowledge of telling time.

Activity 1. Teacher will call out a time. Students will hold up clocks for me to check for correctness. This will go on for 5 to 8 minutes.

Activity 2. Student will use paper plates, markers, glue and brads to make a clock of their own.

Activity 2. Teacher will help make sure that student is properly placing the correct items onto the right areas. Making a clock.
