UNIT V PERPECTIVE PROJECTIONS

( By Visual Ray method ) 1. Draw the perspective projection of a square prism of base side 40mm and height 50mm with one of its vertical faces parallel to PP and 30mm behind it. The station point is 70mm in front of PP and 80mm above the GP and lies in a central plane which is 60mm to the right of the axis of the prism. 2. A square pyramid of base side 40mm and height 50mm rests on the ground on its base. With one of the base edge is on PP. station point 55mm in front of PP and 80mm above the ground .The axis of the pyramid is 70mm to the left of the station point. 3. A square prism of base side 40mm and height 75mm rests on the ground on one of its base with one of longer edge is on PP and face containing the longer edge inclined 300 to PP. The observer eye is (SP) is 60mm in front of PP and 75mm above the base, also which is opposite to the nearest vertical edge. Draw the perspective projection. 4. (University Question Jan2009 ) Draw the perspective view of a square prism of edge of base 40 mm and length 60 mm lying on a rectangular face on the ground with base edge on PP and bases equally inclined to PP.The station point is 60mm in front of PP and 80mm above GL and lies in a central plane which is passing through the centre of the prism.
