1. Draw the development of lower portion of the cylinder of Dia.50mm and axis 70mm long. when sectioned by a plane inclined at 40 0 to HP and perpendicular to VP and bisecting the axis. 2. A hexagonal prism of side 30mm and axis 60mm rest on HP on its base with two vertical faces perpendicular to VP. It is cut by a plane inclined at 500 to HP and perpendicular to VP which meets the axis at 10mm from the top end. Draw the lateral surface of the prism. 3. A hexagonal pyramid of side 30mm and altitude 60mm is resting on HP on its base. the pyramid is cut by a plane inclined at 300 to HP and perpendicular to VP also bisects the axis. Draw the development to remaining portion of the pyramid when (i) Base edges are parallel to VP (ii) Base edges are perpendicular to VP. 4. Draw the development of lateral surface of the cone of dia. 50mm and axis 70mm. A section plane perpendicular to VP and inclined at 350 to HP bisects the axis of the cone. 5. A cone of base dIa.60mm height 70mm resting on its base on HP. It is cut by a plane perpendicular to VP and parallel to VP at a distance 20mm from the vertex. It is also cut by a plane inclined at 400 to the base and meeting the axis at a point 20mm above the base. Draw the development of intermediate portion of the cone. Note: Refer Development of Surface problem no 29 (14.29) and 30 (14.30) MS KUMAR 6. A pentagonal prism of base side 25mm height 60mm stands on its ends on HP with a rectangular face parallel to VP and away from it. A hole of dia.30mm drilled centrally through the prism in such a way that the axis of the hole bisects the axis of the prism. Draw the development of lateral surface of the prism. Note: Refer Development of Surface problem no 46 (14.43) and 48 (14.44) MS KUMAR

7. A hexagonal pyramid of base 30mm axis 80mm rests on its base with edges of base parallel to VP.A circular hole of Dia.30mm is completely drilled through the pyramid such that axis of the hole perpendicular to VP.and intersects the axis of the pyramid at 20mm above the base. Draw the development of lateral surface of the pyramid ( Problem - 49 - 14.45 MS KUMAR )
