theTexasElectionCode,is requiredto be heldon May 5,2001,at whichtime
thevoterswill electCity Councilfor Places3, 4 and5; NOW, TIIEREFORE,

BE IT RESOLVEDBY THE CITY COUNCIL OF'THE CITY OF PELICAN BAY,

TEXAS:

Section1: THAT an electionis herebycalledto electCity Council to Places3, 4 and 5 to
L2 serveuntil May of 2003,or until their successorsareduly electedand qualified.
Such election shall be held at Pelican Bay City Hall, 1300 Pelican Circle,
L4 PeiicanBay,Texas,onthe5ihciayofMay,20C1,from 7:0Ca.m.uiitil T:COp.m.

L6 Section2: Quaiifiedpersonsmay file as candidatesby filing applicationsin the office of

the City Secretaryon weekdaysfrom 9:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. from February
18 19,2001,throughMarch 2I,2001.

20 Section3: Early voting shall commencein the office of the City Secretaryon April 18,
200I, and shallcontinueMonday throughFriday from 10:00a.m. until 5:00
22 p.m.,throughMay 1, 2001.

24 Section4: The following personsshall be the officers who shall conductthe election:

zo - PresidingJudge

2B - AlternatePresidingJudge

30 - Alternate Presiding Judge
