    We are creating a collection of (digital) stories about the role of the miners and the health of our community. We are looking to (story tellers) people from the community, who would be willing to tell us their story. (These are 2-3 minute short clips – with some pictures and a voice-over from you). All we need from you is a short story, some old photos if you have them and we do all the rest!

    CAERPHILLY MINERS- BACK TO THE COMMNITY Making History at Caerphilly Miners Digital Story Telling project

    Do you have a story to tell?


    We are creating a collection of (digital) stories about the role of the miners and the health of our community. We are looking to (story tellers) people from the community, who would be willing to tell us their story. (These are 2-3 minute short clips with some pictures and a voice-over from you). All we need from you is a short story, some old photos if you have them and we do all the rest!

    The topics were collecting are:


    life in a coalfield community; the need for a Miners hospital; camaraderie and community spirit; day and night on the ward; Returning the Caerphilly Miners back to the community

    If youd like to contribute please come along to our event on Saturday 18th May 2013 at the Twyn Community Centre 10 am to 2 pm. All welcome!
