Extra resources in each module. Expectations were understood from the beginning and module were always up and ready in advance to due dates. Discussion boards with peers The book and varied assignments The material was presented in different forms, and the teacher took the time to respond thoroughly to my questions and posts. Lots of different resources from videos to articles. The professor-- she found wonderful articles and videos to help support our textbook, and I think that was the biggest strength. the teacher put up the assignments in advance so we could get a head start. Well laid out lessons. the links to various videos, websites, etc. Would love more of that, more info on where classroom and technology intersect because this seems like a strength of hers Learning all about how the braid develops. was the valuable information! The material presented in the book was very thorough and extremely applicable to my job.

It was online and would have been a great class in the classroom Confusing structure of assignments. Didn't seem linear to me but I adjusted The deadlines for the assignments could have been presented in a more simplified way... Like maybe a chart or calendar. Not sure there were any. Some weeks I was unable to tell what the required readings were and what the optional readings were. I wish assignments had been graded faster. I understand there were circumstances that caused a delay, however, I wasn't able to have a clear picture of my progress. I don't think this course had any weaknesses. to many due dates. I would have preferred one due date a week instead of two to four. I don't like the online format. I felt like too much of the learning was completely independent and not assessed. Also, I miss the interaction and face-to-face discussion of on-campus classes.

Really appreciate how organized the course was...great experience I enjoyed the learning that tok place from this course That she is doing a great job. I have taken numerous online courses at different schools and I really appreciate her continued involvement and passion for the subject material. It is clear that she enjoys what she does and her enthusiasm is contagious! Thank you for staying on top of us and reminding us of missing work, other instructors don't do that! She shows how much she cares about her students. The time she puts into finding new and exciting information for our benefit, and the time she takes to respond to our comments and discussions is incredible. I enjoy having her as my instructor. I hope all class instructors have as much character as she does. that she was very good at communicating with the students and making sure we weren't confused about things. That I really enjoyed the variety of readings available each week I enjoyed exploring the many iPad apps. that the class was well organized. I learned so much from this course and enjoyed learning all about how my student's learn and how the brain develops. that I enjoyed the discussions but would have preferred a different format. I would have liked to use an app that provided us with a wall that is easier to follow. I did learn a lot and was able to apply a low of this information, but I don't feel like we had enough interaction with the teacher.

Reading the book because it scentifically supported theories. i enjoyed the introduction postings because It was nice to see that everyone brought something different to the class. It was also neat that we were able to upload a picture of ourselves because it's always nice to put a face with the names. I've never had another teacher do this and I really liked it! I don't have a favorite- I loved pieces from all modules. I enjoyed reading everyone's thoughts and being able to learn from each other. Multiple intelligences, I enjoyed learning how to better serve different learning styles. Talking about inclusion of the arts in the classroom. That is very important to me and I enjoyed the discussion. The one in which we talked about Bloom's. I felt this was extremely relevant considering the current push for high-stakes testing.

The structure of the assignments. I was confused as to what whas due when I don't have a least favorite session but I can say that my least favorite part of the class, in general, was feeling like I was always behind in reading my classmates posts! Our class averaged about 50 posts per module. Loved them all! TAP rubric, because we have to do it so much already. I enjoyed all of them because I learned something new from all of them. the ones during thanksgiving break. It was hard to balance reading and researching when the rest of the university was out for a week.

TAP Rubric reflection watching the video on Fish is Fish because I want to be pushed more in grad school than this The TAP Rubric Reflection where we had to reflect on what a 1, 3, and 5 would look like in our subject area because I didn't learn anything from that and it didn't benefit me or make me better in any way. I just explained what that kind of learning environment would look like in my area of education. writing the Teaching and Leading paper because I struggled to integrate Mere Christianity. I did not see the connect between my philosophy on teaching and Mere Christianity.

See above I think it would be nice to incorporate videos of the teacher lecturing or talking about subject material... It just seemed like there was a lot to keep up with. Also, when responding to a classmate's post, some people never even referenced anything I said in my original post so I felt like people were responding just to respond for the grade. Research paper! None I would take out the environment rubric assignment and add in something different that would be more beneficial. the format of the discussions. perhaps move this class to an on-campus class. There is a wealth of information, and I think it would be good for us to discuss some of it in person.
