Teach it!

Students are exposed to the way the world works around them and why it works that way from an early age. The students can leave the classroom and point out how the concepts they learned in the classroom relate to reallife objects, people and the environment around them. Students can learn early on how to identify a leader and how to save money, which can both be used later on in life. Every concept in Social Studies links to real-life happenings and can be used later on in the students lives. Its interesting and fun and questions will more than likely arise in classrooms about politics, consumers, producers, democracy, etc and what better way to take that question than making a learning experience from that in one of your social study lessons.
