Requina My fellow head teachers, Mrs. Oria, Mr. Solis and Mrs. Ligutan Newly Elected Officers of the different recognized organizations of the school PTA,SGC, SSG and Homeroom and of course the Mahaplag Teachers Association faculty members non-teaching personnel Police Officers Barangay Tanods the reason why we have this activity- the Students Good afternoon. Once again we are gathered here for the tradition of our school which is the Annual Acquaintance Party. This is kick off activity intended for new students, transferees and old as well to get to know one another in order to adapt to their new environment to, to the old and returning students, to build friendship to enhance smooth interpersonal relation with peers and teachers, and of course to know the newly elected officials. One of the highlights of this gathering is the induction of our newly elected officials of the PTA, SSG and Homeroom Therefore before we get things started, it is my pleasure and pride to welcome the the newly elected officials I wish that you illuminate what Rosalynn Carter once elegantly said, "A leader takes people where they want to go. A great leader takes people where they don't necessarily want to go, but ought to be." as you take the lead today, for now and always, remember to fire passion for transparency, honesty and integrity, and above all,

 the leader that this school has enabled you to become whose main objective is towards the realization of the vision and mission of the Deped which to improve the quality of life of every student. the First Batch of the K-12 Curriculum, the Grade 7 students, welcome to your new home. We thank your parents for enrolling you here, for trusting the Mahaplag National High School Administration and teachers in discovering and developing your full potential for making Mahaplag NHS a part of your journey in your search for academic excellence and of improving your life. I can say you are in the right path. To the returnees, second year, third year and 4th year students, welcome back to school. I hope you will enjoy your studies throughout the school year. To the teachers, after a hiasto of almost 2 months they're back again, academically energized, more efficient and more effective . Without skepticism, I thought, this is the most opportune time for all of us to start the school year with fond memories So, capture some magical moments create happy memories and surround yourselves with laughter and friendship In other words, Have fun and enjoy. Like what, William Purkey said, You've gotta dance like there's nobody watching, Sing like there's nobody listening, And live like it's heaven on earth. I reiterate, my most cordial welcome.
